People often inquire how to refinish a concrete slide. This pool was built in 2013 and the slide was tiled in a small 1″ tile originally. Now that it was time to redo the liner, the homeowner also opted to redo the slide and sunshelf. We decided to go with ecoFinish on the slide and had to remove the tile to do this. Then wire was pinned to the slide to hold concrete in place, a few layers of concrete were added and smoothed on, followed by the ecoFinish, and finally the liner.
While our team makes this look pretty simple, it’s a rather involved process with a price tag to match. Not the quickest and easiest way to refinish a slide, but one that is a great option and will last the homeowner for the next 20 years.
