Most companies hire an excavator to dig their swimming pool, but we dig our own pools. We use a small 360 excavator, not over-sized; small because it’s not about quickness. It’s about detail for us. Our goal is not to move fast, but to take care of one step of the process at a time and laying out as we go. In this organic process, we have a lot of things figured out ahead of time, but not everything. Sometimes once we start digging down into the ground, we realize what we need to do.
Excitement time! The first day of any project is always fun. It’s fun for us as the builders, because we get to immerse ourselves into that next project and everything that goes with it. And it’s excitement for the home owner, as well.
Well, this is the beginning of something that gets really big. I mean, right now, it looks like a bomb goes off in the backyard, but all of sudden pieces start coming together and its interesting, the rollercoaster of emotions that we all feel in this. Me, from the love of what I do. I know the rollercoaster that I ride. I imagine that you, as the home owner, also go through the ups and downs…and the wiggles of maneuvering through the process.
