One of the things that Al likes to do is always the unexpected. This happens even when we are finished building a pool – he’ll get a crazy idea and add something clever to the pool. In this case, the pool was being closed down for the winter and the pool guy glued a pirate statue of Johnny Depp in the grotto for the homeowners to find in the spring. What a cool thing – new things to discover and cool aspects that make a pool more than just a pool – more like an outdoor adventure experience!
Though it looks like Katie might have known what was happening because of the secret porthole into the grotto from above!
