Brighton Gunite pool with Waterfall and Retaining by Legendary Escapes Pools
Inside the pool, at the shallow end near the retaining wall, is a sun shelf with stairs leading into the pool for ample sun-bathing/shallow water swimming pool enjoyment. The waterfall, custom concrete carved stairs and tiled slide offer a visual element that finishes the rear pool environment.
This waterfall combination also offers a showcase for flowers and greenery set into the carved tree trunk/tree limb element. The deep end also sports two seats, slightly smaller than a loveseat, large enough to sit and enjoy the elements of the pool and offering a deep end step up and option to climb out of the pool more easily. They are anchored to the patio with hand carved boulders that the homeowner recently referred to as “beautiful.” There is also a fun and whimsical element of a turtle that doubles as a jump rock and spits water back into the pool through the fountain incorporated into it.
The yard has various elevations and a well-coordinated use of real stone, faux-finished boulders, tile surround on the pool and tile incorporated on the waterslide. The backyard is used quite frequently for entertaining, so the waterfall offers a nice rippling water element. The outdoor kitchen boasts a polished colored concrete counter top and, we are told, is enjoyed by many. As a side note, this yard also had a strategic equipment placement challenge, which is located several feet above pool level. We are familiar with the unique needs of pools with this configuration.
